     Welcome to Mrs. Lucas' webpage.Here you will find information about our classroom. While you are visiting, read on to find out some information about me.
I graduated from Ball State University with a teaching degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have been teaching for ten years. I began my teaching career in Brookfield, Illinois teaching 7th and 8th grade LD/BD resource for three years. I then moved on to District 59 where I taught 7th and 8th grade LD resource for three years. At this time I decided that I really enjoyed working with the elementary age students and moved on to Algonquin Lakes. I am so happy to be at ALES and I love teaching LDSC 4th and 5th grade.
When I am not in the classroom, I love to be with my family. I have a two year old daughter. She is so much fun and I love spending time with her. I have been married to my husband, Tim, for 7 years. I also have two dogs, Ricki and Jamey. My hobbies are reading, NASCAR, and any sport that is on TV.
